Gary Costello was born in Sydney, Australia. Upon finishing Bible College where Gary received his Bachelor in Theology, Awesome Church was birthed on June 23rd 1996. Gary & Lissa are ordained minister's with the AOG/ACC Assemblies of God/Australian Christian Churches and is affiliated with ICFM the International Word of Faith Ministries.
Gary and his wife Lissa bring a fresh dynamic approach to ministry. They both have a deep devotion to Jesus Christ and share a passion for ministry. Family orientated and youthful in nature they present Church in a vibrant and relative way with emphasis on an abiding love of God.
Gary is the host of the popular television program Awesome Church TV and is seen on free to air television every Sunday & Tuesday morning's prime time in Sydney.
Gary has written a number of books, most recently God's Economy and Divine Healing which are tremendous tools for people wishing to empower their Christian walk in life.
In May 2010 Gary & Lissa were appointed as ICFM Regional Directors for NSW. Working closely with ICFM International in bringing the Word of Faith message to the nations of the earth.
Gary is married to Lissa (Original Founding Church Team Member) who has a tremendous call of God on her life. Lissa has become a perfect compliment to Gary's ministry overseeing the Vision Team and Church. Lissa Graduated in 2006 with Honours in a Certificate in Ministry at AlphaCrucis National Assemblies of God College. Gary and Lissa have two beautiful Jessica and Charlotte.
Gary's Vision is to REACH & EMPOWER. Reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Empower people to live a victorious Christian life.
