Who we are
We are a friendly, rural, faith community situated between Kincardine and Tiverton. At Chalmers we strive to follow Jesus Christ authentically in our daily lives. We certainly don’t claim to do this perfectly, but we do try. Chalmers is a unique church that can only be understood by experiencing it.
The warm welcome that you get at Chalmers can best be described as ‘coming home’. Combine that with our mix of music styles, our community prayer time and our belt-loosening shared meals, the experience you will get at Chalmers is hard to describe, but easy to experience. As Jesus called His disciples to check out what He was all about, so we also invite you to check out what God is doing in and through Chalmers. Come and See… (John 1:39)

Pastor Bruce and his wife, Ruth, moved to Kincardine to begin ministry here at Chalmers in January of 2021. He served in a Lead Pastor role for 23 years in 2 different churches before being led here by God and was a Youth Pastor for 8 years previous to that. Bruce and Ruth also have experience in the Christian Camping ministry, serving as Camp Directors for three years after graduating from Ontario Bible College (now Tyndale University) in Toronto.
Bruce grew up in Stratford, Ontario but has many ties to Bruce County. His mother grew up on a farm here and, in fact, named her firstborn after the county in which she was raised! Bruce and Ruth feel as if the Lord brought them “full-circle” when He led them here! They have two adult children; Bethany, who is a teacher in Toronto, and Caleb, married to Sarah, who live and work in New Brunswick.

We are located between Kincardine and Tiverton at 1016 Concession 7 at Sideroad 10, near Armow.
Parking
The church has parking right on the property. There is also a field beside the parking lot for snowmobiles, dirt bikes, 4 wheelers or tractors. Parking for however you travel.

Wear clothes. From that point on, it's whatever you're comfortable wearing! We're more concerned with what's going on inside a person than with what they look like on the outside. Whether it's jeans or a three-piece suit, just feel comfortable! (hint: our pastor usually wears jeans)
