Church of the Ascension welcomes Christians and those who seek to connect to Christianity in the Haywards Heath area.
We aim to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-changing Christian journey.

1st Sunday of the month - Funky Faith
An all-age activity-based service with an emphasis on families with young children
Every first Sunday at 9:15 AM for ¾ hour
2nd & 4th Sunday of the month - Ascension Praise
A contemporary service of the Word with the emphasis on praise and teaching. Children's groups will be provided during the service.
Every second and fourth Sunday at 9:15 AM for 1 hour
5th Sunday of the month - Cafe Church
A praise service held in the Ashenground Community Centre during which we share tea, coffee and breakfast pastries!
Every fifth Sunday at 9:15 AM for 1 hour
Holy Communion
Holy Communion Services are based on Common Worship with a seasonal flavour, with both older hymns and newer songs.
Refreshments and fellowship takes place from 10:15, when the 'Kingdom Service' finishes.
Every first second fourth and fifth Sunday at 10:45 AM for 1 hour
Family Communion
An all-age communion service 'in the round', with the children taking an active part in the service.
Refreshments and fellowship take place in the Ashenground Centre from 10.15am.
Every third Sunday at 10:45 AM for 1 hour
Wednesday
Mid-week Communion
Said Eucharist with homily
Every Wednesday at 10:30 AM for ½ hour
Thursday
Prayer for Lewes Prison
A time to pray for the inmates and families of those in prison as well as the staff
