Who we are
We are a Church that promotes loving God, loving people and loving the Bible. We believe this can only be achieved through an openness to the Holy Spirit.
What We Believe
God came to earth in the form of Jesus Christ
Jesus took the sin of the world upon Him when He died on the cross.
If we believe and trust in Jesus, we will be saved in life and delivered from Hell when we die.
When we call on Jesus, He also, washes away our sin and comes and lives inside us to help us to become like Him.
Jesus told us to go public with our faith and when we do we are to pray for the sick and broken hearted to be healed and to cast out demons and to tell people about the love that God has for them.
Jesus said we can only do this by allowing the Holy Spirit to come on us, who will then give us spiritual gifts to do miracles.
Jesus said that if we believe in Him, when we die, we will be given a new body and live forever in Heaven.

At City Church, Students are an integral part of church life. We want to encourage Students to grow in their walk with Jesus and make the most of their university experience.
We encourage our Students to break out of the Student bubble and get involved in the mainstream life of church by joing Connect Groups, serving and giving. The Students of City Church are not a stand alone group. They are part of the 18-30s of church.
