We are located in Kingpsort, TN nestled among the beautiful Northeast Tennessee mountains. We believe God created us to be in relationships. Greg Burton is our senior pastor. He has been in ministry for over forty years. He came to us in 2004. Greg and Theresa are originally Kentuckians, but they have found Tennessee to be a wonderful home. In fact, Greg’s roots run deep in this area, as his mother was born and raised very near here. They have three children and six grandchildren. Theresa teaches Family & Consumer Science at Unaka High School in Carter County. It is a wonderful ministry in itself as she teaches family, relationships, child development and so much more. Greg’s gospel passions include mentoring, prayer, jail ministry and loving people. His hobbies include exercise, golf, high school sports and three special little people!
Greg received his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Murray (Ky) State University and both his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky. He enjoys connecting with people. Contact him about getting together and hearing what God is doing in our church and in your life.
