Shane is a great communicator with his zest for life and warm sense of humour. He has a unique ability to relate and connect with people of all ages and backgrounds. Shane is passionate about seeing the local church flourish and is committed to leadership development that facilitates people being released into their purpose and calling.
Under his visionary and relational style of leadership, Enjoy Church has grown significantly over the past 20 years. It now has locations across Australia, Japan & Cambodia, with over 6000 people and over 100 nationalities represented.
Shane served as part of the National Executive for the Australian Christian Churches (ACC) for 12 years and as State President for the ACC Victoria for 10 years.
Shane and his wife, Georgie, have been married for over 30 years, and together have two beautiful daughters and one ‘son-of-choice’.

Enjoy Church History
The Enjoy Church journey began on 27 September 1998 when Shane and Georgie became the new Pastors of Keilor AOG.
As the church consistently grew, they found God lifting their vision from the local suburb to the greater western area. To reflect this, they changed the church’s name from Keilor AOG to Brimbank Christian Church.
After moving the location of their Sunday services several times, God placed a desire in their hearts for a permanent building. It was then that God connected them with a local businessman who was building a church building “for the glory of God.” From August 2001 this became the West Location’s current building – a phenomenal provision from God!
God continued to enlarge Ps Shane and Georgie’s vision and began to have a heart for not only for the western suburbs, but also the wider state of Victoria.
In 2006, Brimbank Christian Church became known as Enjoy Church. Founded upon Ecclesiastes 8:15, “so I commend the enjoyment of life!” this became woven into the very fabric of the church.
A monumental moment occurred in November 2009 when Ps Shane bought forth the vision of “5 in 5: 5 locations, in 5 years. 2010 to 2015.” By the grace and favour of God, the fifth location was planted only 3 years later in November 2012.
Now, as of March 2023, Enjoy Church has 15 locations across 3 countries:

Victoria, Melbourne Metro: West location (based in Sunshine), East location (based in Clayton South), North location (based in Epping), City location, Sunbury location & Melton location.
Victoria, Regional: Ballarat location, Bendigo location, Gippsland location (based in Morwell), & Wangaratta location.
South Australia: Adelaide location
Tasmania: Hobart location & Huon Valley location

Osaka location

Phnom Penh location
We are reaching our city, state and world. For this, we give God all the glory and honour and look forward to taking more ground for God’s Kingdom. Now, we are more excited than we’ve ever been! The opportunities and challenges before us on every front are exciting, but with the help of our God, we believe we’ll achieve everything that He has placed in our hearts.
