First Christian Church welcomes Christians and those who seek to connect to Christianity in the Greencastle area.
We aim to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-changing Christian journey.

Rev. David Clifford came to First Christian Church in September 2015.
Pastor David is both a pastor and a mental health therapist. He grew up in Sebree, a small town in western Kentucky. He studied religion at Transylvania University – a small liberal arts school in Lexington, Kentucky and graduated from Christian Theological Seminary, where he served as chapel assistant for two years, with both a Master of Divinity degree and a Master of Mental Health Counseling degree in May of 2014. Pastor David was ordained at Avon Christian Church on March 15, 2015. Pastor David joins us after serving as pastor of Montclair Christian Church, a small, independent church in Lizton, IN.
Pastor David not only enjoys his calling as pastor, but also has a passion for mental health counseling. In the spring of 2015, he taught a Psychology of Religion course at Marian University in Indianapolis. As he works as our interim minister, he will also be continuing his work in the mental health profession as a therapist resident at Christian Theological Seminary Counseling Center. He will be working toward his licensure as a mental health counselor.
Pastor David enjoys reading and learning, football, and riding his bicycle. He also enjoys spending time with his family. With his wife, Onnastasia and their three children, Hadrian, Hollan-Monroe, and Henson; the Cliffords live in Irvington, a historic district on the east side of Indianapolis.
