The Hartford Wesleyan Church was founded in the belief that the Greater Hartford Area needs to be reached for Christ. Our vision is based on these foundations:

In 1999, Rev. Peter Isaac received his Bachelor of Arts degree from York University in Toronto, Canada and in 2005, received his Masters of Divinity degree from Tyndale Seminary also in Toronto. Obeying the calling on his life, he then became pastor of the Hartford Wesleyan Church in May 2006.
In 2007, Pastor Isaac had a traumatic experience with the death of his previous wife, Lynn, in a tragic car accident, but he remained faithful to his calling to the ministry. With the grace of God, he remarried in 2009 to the wonderful Lady Sherene Isaac and together, they have three beautiful children, Michael, Mikaela, and Micah.
In 2007, Pastor Isaac had a traumatic experience with the death of his previous wife, Lynn, in a tragic car accident, but he remained faithful to his calling to the ministry. With the grace of God, he remarried in 2009 to the wonderful Lady Sherene Isaac and together, they have three beautiful children, Michael, Mikaela, and Micah.

Greater Hartford Wesleyan Church History
The Hartford Wesleyan Church was founded in Hartford, CT in 1991 by the Merrick family (Pastors Keith and Esther) to meet the ministry needs of the ever changing community in the Greater Hartford Area.
Since then, The Greater Hartford Wesleyan Church has expanded the scope of its community services to include distrubution of food and clothing to those in need, counseling and support.
The needs of our community seem to be growing by the day, and we have recently expanded to meet these needs. Over the years, we have learned that what people sometimes need the most is someone who will listen to their concerns - someone they can turn to for support when the going gets tough. And that's what The Greater Hartford Wesleyan Church, under the ministry of Pastor Peter and Lady Sherene Isaac, is all about.
Since then, The Greater Hartford Wesleyan Church has expanded the scope of its community services to include distrubution of food and clothing to those in need, counseling and support.
