Greenborough Community Church History

Greenborough began as a church plant in 1951. First meeting in the gymnasium of C E Webster Public School on Keele Street. During this time the present site of 2000 Keele Street, (on the corner of Keele and Greenbrook Drive) was purchased. The building was completed in 1957 under the pastorate of Rev. C A Amrstrong. The name of the church is an amalgamation of two neighborhoods (Greenbrook and Beachborough) the Hence, the idea of unity is inherent in the church's mission.

No matter who you are, what your background is, at Greenborough you are always welcome! We see diversity as a strength, the various traditions of our faith as enriching. We strive to live out the love of God as revealed in Christ, making disciples and living out his kingdom!
