Who we are
Lighthouse Baptist Church is an old-fashioned, Bible-believing church. We teach and preach only from the KJB and love the old hymns.
Our church is filled with folks who love the Lord and who are waiting to welcome you when you visit us.
On Sundays, we meet for Sunday School at 10 am. Morning service is 11 am, and the evening service is 6 pm. Our Wednesday evening Bible study is at 7 pm.
On the first Sunday of the month only, we meet at the regular morning times. After the morning service, we enjoy a potluck meal. Immediatley after the meal, we have an afternoon service, and that is followed by birthday cake. There is no evening service. But, again, that is the first Sunday only.
The men meet for breakfast and prayer on the second Saturday of each month, 9:30 am at the church.
The ladies meet for monthly luncheon on the third Saturday of each month, 10:30 am at the church.
Some of our activities include Mother/Daughter Tea, Men's Dinner, Christmas party, Thanksgiving food boxes, work parties, Valentine breakfast, and more.
We seek to bring the Lord and His salvation to the community. We visit the community each Saturday. We also want to be mission-minded-our pastor brings in missionaries to present their various fields.
We are a small church, but we are a church on the grow. Come join us and let's grow together.

Randy DePriest was born in Grove City, OH, the fourth of six boys. His initial interest in church was due to his love of playing baseball – church attendance was mandatory in order to be part of the team. During a revival meeting while in his late teens, Randy was convicted of His need for Christ and turned to Him.
It was not too long after that the Lord called Randy to preach. He became assistant pastor and spent several years being mentored by his pastor. It was during this time, in 1986, that he met and married his wife, LuAnne, who had moved to the area to teach in the Christian school.
Just before their third anniversary, Randy, LuAnne, and their almost-two-year-old son Joshua moved to Chesterton, IN, for Randy to attend Fairhaven Baptist College. While there, he immersed himself in the ministries of the church. After graduation, the Lord led the family to remain in Chesterton as laymen, continuing involvement in church ministries.
In 2015, Pastor and Mrs. DePriest moved to Sequim, WA. The church they joined did not have a pastor and soon called Pastor DePriest to serve them. Two years later their son was able to move to the area; he serves, among other areas, as the song leader at the church.

Lighthouse Baptist Church History
While our church was started a number of years ago, we were without a pastor for five years. God brought our current pastor to us in 2016. He has bee our pastor since July, 2017.
