Who we are
Intersection is home to the congregation of Lord of Light Church, whose members joyfully worship with the students of Intersection and interact with campus life and its surrounding community.
Lord of Light and Intersection are both members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The liturgy used for worship is based on ELCA's Evangelical Lutheran Worship book, and focuses on a balance of Word and song to enhance the worship experience in addition to Holy Communion.
Musically, Lord of Light is very versatile. Styles of music integrated into worship include traditional, African, Native American, contemporary, Latin American, and more. Intersection students are more than welcome to participate in Lord of Light's services as we recieve the Word and Sacrament, raise our voices in prayer and praise, and confess our shortcomings.
