Who we are
New Generation Church is a place for new beginnings, it’s a vibrant, bible-based and growing Church located in the North-East of England.
Our purpose is driven by the desire to see people encounter Jesus in all of His goodness and to experience the difference He can make in their life.
We are a local Church made up of ordinary people, just like you. We believe and have seen how the message of Jesus and the influence of His Church can change lives and impact communities.
Church is a place where change can take place, starting from the inside out. Jesus invites you to ‘come as you are’ and makes it possible for you to become all that you’re meant to be.
Here at New Generation Church we’re all about bringing Jesus to the hearts and minds of people so those who are far from God can come to know and believe in Him.
We aim to create an atmosphere where you can easily connect with God and with other people. An environment where you can grow and live out your God-given purpose, a place where people of all ages and from all walks of life can feel like they belong. So whatever your story has been, we extend the love of God and the grace, mercy and forgiveness of Jesus to you and invite you to become part of our family.

It’s all about People! Without a relationship with Jesus people are lost, and lost people matter to God – so they matter to us.

We can’t do life alone and we’re not supposed to try – we’re better together. The Church is the greatest thing that is happening on the face of the earth!

Saved people serve people! We believe greatness comes out of service and that every act of service helps to make a difference, so if we’re not helping… what are we doing?
Excellence
God gave us His best and we are going to do the best with what we have. We’re on time, prepared and in the moment. Jesus went all the way and so will we!
Honour
We’re big on respect and generous with our words. We honour leadership and those we serve.
Generosity
We can’t out-give God! We can be generous because God has been generous to us. We give more than the minimum and count it a privilege.
Growth
Change happens because growing people change, and we’re all becoming more like Jesus!

New Generation Kids
This ministry is made for children to have fun and learn about Jesus. Running alongside our Sunday service, NGKids is for children aged 1-11. With three age groups, each child is able learn in a way they understand. They enjoy a safe and warm environment and our goal is to provide a creative and relevant programme to help them know Jesus and build meaningful relationships with God and one another.
It’s our privilege to instill in them timeless values that help to set them on course for the life God has for them.
NGKids is led by appropriately vetted leaders.

We believe that ‘you’re never too young to change the world’ so our goal is to inspire these young people to learn about God’s plans for their lives so they can do the incredible things that are possible when He’s on your side.
Whether they’re taking part in energetic activities, discussing the bible in a creative and relevant way—usually in the vicinity of food, Catalyst is a place where young people laugh! Here they’re able to connect with their youth leaders, ask questions, get closer to Jesus and grow in their friendship with others.
Ignite
Ages 10-13
Ignite is our youngest youth group. It is designed to create an exciting, safe environment where they can have fun and learn about the amazing things God can do for them and through them. We believe a tiny spark can set a big forest on fire, and that no matter how young they are, these young people can make a difference.

Our goal is to help young people connect with God, connect with each other and to have fun at the same time. We believe our young people will change the world, and so our purpose is to inspire them to do the incredible things that are possible with God on their side.
