Who we are
We are a warm and welcoming couple of congregations who work together as one parish. Our pastor commutes from Regina and is with us regularly on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
Regular worship is as follows:
St John - 9:30AM
Norrona - 11:30AM
We have an active Sunday School, Confirmation Class, and ELW Group. We are also actively engaged in the ecumenical life of our community.

"God's Word is our Great Heritage" Norrona Lutheran Church is a country church with Norwegian roots. It is committed to all people and to the continuation, through word and deed, of the eternal heritage of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Norrona Lutheran Church History
The congregations of St. John and Norrona started discussions in 1965 and on January 1, 1966 the St. John/Norrona Parish was formed.
Pastor Harold Martin who started his call with St. John in 1959 became the first Pastor to serve this parish. He resigned in 1970.
Other Pastors that have served are: Pastor James Buenting (1971-1973), Pastor Gerhard Preibisch (1973-1979), Pastor Harold Lovrod (1979-1984), Pastor Lois Knudson Munholland (1985-1997), Pastor Richard Schulz (1998-2002), Pastor Don Hansen (2003-2015) and currently, Pastor Zsofi Schmiedge (2015).
The parish has a choir, youth group, and Sunday School. Their council meets monthly along with congregational council meetings and scheduled throughout the year are joint worship services followed by potluck lunches.
On July 10, 2016 the parish celebrated its 50th anniversary at a joint worship service at Norrona.
