Who we are
We place God’s word, the Bible chiefly at the heart of our church, coming together each Sunday to read his word and worship God for his abounding love, mercy and grace, and to pray for the needs of our community, country and each other. Our church seeks to actively engage with our community, carrying the example of Christ while remaining open about our reliance on God’s forgiving grace.
The sermon is usually given by our senior pastor, Bruce Patrick. We like to mix things up though and quite often will feature guest speakers and musicians from outside our church. We celebrate communion the first Sunday of each month, and we’ve been known for the occasional café service. We’re a warm friendly bunch, and we’d love for you to drop in and join us.

Growth: To grow the kingdom of God, a faith community of diverse peoples who live out in word and deed the good news of Jesus Christ, who will impact the people of Orakei, Eastern Bays, Auckland, our country and the world.
Worship: To give glory to God through inspirational worship, knowing him better and seeking his leadership through prayer.
Mission: To share Christ through loving relationships and initiatives, making disciples of all people, ages and nations.
Caring: Using our gifts to serve people in our communities in the name of Jesus Christ.

10:20 AM start every Sunday. The programme for 2015 focuses on 4 attributes of God, learning about one attribute each term: God is Peace, God is a Leader, God is Generous and God is Faithful.
Bible stories and memory verses will be shared and learnt, and children will be involved in singing and creating appropriate praise and worship songs.
