Sunday
SUNDAY: SOLEMN MORNING PRAYER
9:30AM SUNG SOLEMN MORNING PRAYER (The Divine Office rendered inclusively) is sung with ceremony and incense in the Bl. Sacrament (Chapel) - at the LEFT hand end of the church as you face the MAIN DOOR each Sunday. ALL ARE WELCOME ///
Every Sunday at 9:30 AM for 20 minutes
10.30am SUNDAY SUNG SOLEMN PARISH MASS
THE 10.30am SUNDAY 'SUNG SOLEMN' PARISH MASS is the centre and focus of the community's work and witness. (There are also Low Masses on weekdays - not Mondays)
Mass is performed with as much PRAYERFULNESS AND PASSION as we can muster and, on Sundays and Feasts, with all the solemnity and ceremony of the Western church - incense, bells, acolytes, 3 sacred ministers, vestments, asperges and whatever else traditionally is appropriate for the season or day.
On Sunday the MASS IS FULLY SUNG with congregational music and organ accompaniment. There is some singing on weekdays and appropriate ceremony.
'Sung Solemn' DOES NOT MEAN BORING OR STIFF! The congregation is involved as are the children (at the Angelus and sometimes in Gospel processions) in welcome songs and through our developing music project.
ALL ARE WELCOME and the diverse congregation with its varied histories and cultures prides itself on making that welcome real and generous.
Every Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
