Who we are
Queen Street is a small but growing church in the town centre of Ilkeston, Derbyshire. We offer a warm welcome to anyone who wants to come along and experience a lively, friendly church family, where we try to make the Good News about Jesus known to as many people as possible of all ages.

Weekly meetings
Sunday worship
Our main Sunday meeting is at 6.00 p.m., and is a celebration of praise, worship and preaching. There is an opportunity for prayer ministry at the end of each meeting.
We also have a morning meeting at 10.30 a.m. This has a more informal character: we sit in a circle rather than in rows; there is more sharing and inter-action, alongside praise and worship and a teaching sermon.
Tuesday Bible class
The church runs series of more in-depth Bible teaching, led by the pastor. These are attended by people from a number of local churches, who want to deepen their understanding of the whole Bible and of biblical theology. These classes take place on Tuesday evenings at 7.30 p.m.; they run in “half-terms” during school terms, and the talks cover a variety of different topics.
