Thank you for taking time to learn about our church. We are a life-giving church where people from all walks of life are embraced. It doesn’t matter what ethnic, religious, or economic background you are coming from. We know that God has a purpose for your life and wants to have relationship with you. Having relationship with God is easy, but often church people want to make it complicated. Here at the River, we declare the simple, yet revolutionary, message of Jesus Christ that a relationship with God is easy.
During one of our services on Sunday morning or Wednesday night, you will encounter heart-expressing worship, dynamic and relevant teaching from the word of God, and friendly people to minister to your needs. Don’t be concerned about dressing up because we have a casual and informal atmosphere.
We also offer small groups for adults and children where you can form new friendships and continue to grow in your relationship with God. We believe that having community with others is the best way to do life.

Babies (Birth - age 2)
Our nursery provides a safe and secure environment for infants while their parents worship. Much more than babysitting takes place though!
Our Baby Bible Class instructors
teach the basic concepts of faith including:
God made the world,
God made me and
God loves me.
Each child is taught to love God's Word.
River Tots (Ages 3- 4)
Our preschool children's church provides a fun environment where kids learn the principles of God's Word through Bible stories taught at their level.
River Kids (Grades K-5)
In our gradeschool church, children learn
scriptures and bible lessons as well as how
to worship and pray. Multimedia and interactive games help children to connect with peers and engage in the Word of God in a fun and creative way. It is our desire to see every child come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

River of Life Church History
River of Life Church was founded in 1975 by Clarence R. Matheny, a pioneer missionary to Kenya East Africa. Upon its inception, the purpose was to become “A Bible Teaching Center with a worldwide outreach." To this day, under the leadership of Mike Ewoldt, Senior Pastor, the vision continues to expand and support the original purpose.
The vision of River of Life Church is to be a life-giving, multi-cultural church that reaches, restores and releases people to excel in their divine purpose by the power of the Holy Spirit. This vision translates to River of Life Church being a church for “All People;” A place of new beginnings…; that wherever the river flows, everything lives. (Ezekiel 47:9)
The Holy Spirit is empowering the church to establish effective community outreaches (Home Mission), world mission initiatives, missionary support and partnership (Foreign Mission).
