Who we are
Hi and welcome to Riverton Baptist Community Church.
We wish to extend a warm welcome to come and join us at one of our three Sunday services. They are held at 8:50am, 10:30am and 6:30pm. Programmes for children and teens, as well as a creche facility, are offered in the both morning services. The evening service is led by the Young Adults but people of all ages are welcome to attend!
If you visit us on a Sunday, please stop in at the ‘New Friends’ area near the front entrance, and also fill in a contact details form so that we can get in touch with you. Throughout the year we host lunch for new friends to get to know others in the church community.
One great way to get to know people and become a part of the Rivo community is to come along to some events and join in on some activities. We host a range of activities and programs that aim to help you grow closer to God and closer to His family of believers.
And finally, if you would like to start receiving our bulletin and e-news via email, simply email admin@rivbap.org.au and we will add you to our mailing list.

MORNINGS

Our two Sunday morning gatherings mix contemporary music and creative arts with practical guidance for life from the Bible. There's a special program for the kids and, when you come, you'll meet people from all over the world. No matter who you are or where you're from you are welcome at Rivo.
EVENINGS
6:00pm
The evening service is run by our young adults, but all ages are welcome. This session is more casual than the mornings. There will be an easy-to-understand talk from the Bible, prayer, good music, great friends and the night often revolves around food. So come along, you'll be made very welcome.

KID'S CLUB
Everyone needs a safe place to belong and have fun with friends, especially children. Kids in year 4-6 are invited to come along to our Friday afternoon Kid's Club, where we play exciting games, have loads of fun, make special friends and enjoy yummy food. We meet 5-6.30pm every Friday during the school term.
Cost: $5.00
MAINLY MUSIC
9.30am Wednesdays during term
Mainly Music is a fun music session for families with young children to enjoy together and grow developmentally.
At Mainly Music your young child will find delight in shared experiences, be accepted for who they are, and grow educationally. Come long this week and in no time, you’ll be not only enjoying time with your child, you’ll find friendship and encouragement. We aim to provide that village to help you raise your child. Come along.
KID ZONE
KIDZONE is our Sunday morning ministry which runs during both morning services (8:50am and 10:30am). It runs throughout the year — including school holidays. Kids aged 6 months to Year 6 are invited to join us in KIDZONE rooms to engage and connect with the Good News of Jesus. We have a lot of fun, and we’re always welcoming new friends. Boys’ Brigade provides structured opportunities for boys and young men to grow spiritually, physically, socially, and educationally in a challenging but safe environment.
When: Wednesdays during the school term.
4:30pm – 6:15pm for Anchors (ages 5 – 7).
4:30pm – 6:15pm for Juniors (ages 8 – 11).
Where: Our church, 38 Modillion Ave, Shelley.
GIRLS' BRIGAGE
Girls’ Brigade assists the development of girls in their physical, social, educational, and spiritual lives. Girls attend once a week and participate in activities such as games, crafts, drama, cooking, sports, as well as basic spiritual truths. There are also camps, inter-company sporting events, and youth leadership training opportunities.
When: Wednesdays during the school term.
4:30pm – 6:15pm for Cadets (pre-primary – Year 2) and Junior Juniors (Year 3 – 4).
6:30pm – 8:15pm for Juniors (Year 5 – 6), Seniors (Year 7 – 8), and Pioneers (Year 9 and above).
