Who we are
Riverwood Presbyterian Church is a family forgiven by Jesus to be and make disciples to the glory of God.
Jesus told his friends and disciples to “go and make disciples of all nations.”
We desire this because we have experienced God’s forgiveness through Jesus. Through faith in Jesus, God brings together people of all nations, backgrounds, cultures and languages into a family. We want to see the whole of Riverwood and our surrounding areas be forgiven of their sins, become disciples of Jesus, and enter into the family of God.
We believe God has spoken through the Bible. He has shown us that our experience of the world is filled with hardship and brokenness. But that is not how the world once was. Through the Bible, we see the events that show how this world became broken. As we read the events, we also see how we have sinned against God and broken our relationship with Him, others, and the world.
God doesn’t leave us in brokenness. He offers us forgiveness through Jesus. Forgiveness is given to all who confess their sins to God and live their lives to follow Jesus as Lord and Saviour. This is a life of discipleship.
We want to tell people what God has done and help them be disciples of Jesus.

When you arrive adults will meet in the school hall while Kids Church and Creche are running in one of the school rooms nearest the school hall. Towards the end of the service the children will join the adults as we conclude our formal time together.
After the service you are welcome to stay and enjoy tea, coffee and something to eat. This is a time when we share life together.

RPCYouth (Year 6-12) meets Friday Nights of School Term at 138 Belmore Rd from 7:30-9:30pm. Youth group is a great opportunity for young people to hang out in a safe space to play games and talk about Jesus.

Bible Studies, Growth Groups, and Discipleship Groups: Groups meet in the week to study the Bible, pray, and support one another to be disciples of Jesus.
Sunday Night Outreach: Connecting with our local community is important to us. So on the first Sunday evening of each month, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm at 138 Belmore Road, Riverwood, we have an open invitation to join us for dinner, dessert and a cuppa while listening to a short bible talk and building friendships.
