Saint David Catholic Church History

This is a short history of the Roman Catholic Parish of Saint David at Tywyn in the county of Gwynedd. The small community it serves overlooks the lovely Cambrian Coast of Wales. The first Church was opened in a former Presbyterian chapel in the town in the 1930s. The Church we have today is due to the commitment of its longest-serving pastor Father Charles Lloyd [now retired] and was consecrated on 28th October 1969.
