Who we are
The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. Organized in 1908, the Church is now home to more than 2 million members worshiping in over 26,000 local congregations in 162 world areas.
Mission
The mission of the Church of the Nazarene is to make Christ-like disciples in the nations.
Beliefs
These are the beliefs Nazarenes hold to be true:
We believe in one God-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.

Pastor Brad was called to serve as the pastor at the Spencer Church of the Nazarene on September 11, 2016. Prior to that he had served as Spencer's Interim Pastor since July 1, 2016.
Pastor Brad is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps (1976-1982) where he met Patti, his wife for 37 years now, while stationed at Cherry Point, N.C.
After accepting the call to ministry he attended Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, CO, graduating in 1986. He then received his BA Degree in Religion at Midamerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas, graduating in 1989.
Pastor Brad has served as pastor and associate pastor in Nazarene churches since 1991 in Goodland, KS; Taylor, MI; Adrian, MI; Richmond Heights, OH; Eastlake, OH; Orwell, OH; Rockford, IL; Colling, MI; & Spencer, WV.
He and his wife have two grown boys Mike & Chris who have families of their own. They have four grandchildren.
