St John Knotty Ash Service Times

Sunday
Holy Communion Service
On the first and third Sundays of every month we have our Holy Communion Service.
Sunday School is held on these weeks. For those who are below school age, there is a childrens corner where they can find books, paper and pencils etc to take back to the pew with them. Children under 3 may sit and play in this area accompanied by an adult.
Every first and third Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1 hour
Sunday School
Sunday School is held every first and third sunday of the month whilst Holy Communion takes place.
Here at St Johns we have families with children who worship regularly and so we have a growing Sunday School!
We have a mixed age group of children - and all are welcome to join us.
At sunday school we do a variety of activities - from crafts to songs and games! At special times of year we take part in plays - acting in front of the whole church - and even take part in readings and prayers during All Age Services.
At All Age Services (family services) we have our own flag which is paraded with the uniformed organisations.
We also have Sunday School t-shirts to wear if we want!
We would be delighted to see new children of any age who would like to join. For more details please contact us.
Every first and third Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1 hour
All Age Service (Parade/Family Service)
On the second sunday of every month we have an all age service (family Service).
In these services we may use songs, multimedia, video clips, dance, drama and a whole host of other exciting things to engage all the different age groups in our congregation in worship together. There is no Sunday School on these weeks.
This is also the week that our uniformed organisations - Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers and the ATC parade their flags!
No Parading of flags or uniformed groups during August.
Remembrance Sunday starts at 10.45am prompt not 11am
Every second Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1 hour
Family Holy Communion
Family Holy Communion takes place where there is a 5th Sunday in the month, and also on Christmas Day.
This is a service for all the family and aims to engage all ages in our congregation.
Also on Christmas Day
Every fifth Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1 hour
