St. Paul the Apostle has many active and vibrant groups and events for youth.

CHILDREN'S LITURGY

This liturgy is offered during regularly scheduled masses at Sunday 9am & 11am masses.

Children gather at the front following the Opening Prayer and then go to the Children's Liturgy Room to hear the Sunday readings and discuss the faith in a child friendly manner and return prior to the Eucharistic blessing.

Open to children in JK to Grade 2

Children's Liturgy is offered to children currently in JK to Grade 2 at Sunday 9am & 11am masses and starts up this weekend September 24th. No registration is required. Children who wish to participate are called to the front of the church after the Opening Hymn and are escorted by volunteer leaders to the Children's Liturgy/Nursery room for a special version of liturgy where they hear the word of God and learn Gospel lessons through use of felt story boards. This liturgy is offered most Sundays starting late September to early June.

ELEMENTARY YOUTH GROUP

Open to students in Grades 5-8!

We meet on scheduled Friday evenings for a variety of activities, games, events and social outreach projects. NEW this year we are scheduled a few times at St. Timothy school gym for large group game events and tournaments. We cap off our year with an overnight trip to CYO Camp Brebeuf in April.

Registration for our group is now closed for 2017/18 as all spots are filled. If you wish to be wait listed please contact Arden Ouellette, stpaulcyo@gmail.com

CASTING FOR STATIONS OF THE CROSS - LENT 2018

We are excited to be offering our parish community a dramatization of the Stations of the Cross for Lent 2018. Under the direction of parishioner Elisa Lollino, youth from the parish will present the Stations during the season of Lent using a tableau format of expression.

We are looking for high school students who are registered parishioners and interested in participating in this event. No acting experience is necessary! We provide all direction and support needed to make this a success. This is a wonderful opportunity for our parish youth to share the story of Christ’s passion with the congregation and can provide them with an activity and venue to explore and understand this story of our faith in a meaningful way.

Students interested in participating will be asked to commit to 5-6 rehearsals which will be held on Monday or Wednesday evenings in the parish hall beginning in February.

Please complete a registration form and submit to the parish office no later than February 5th. Please note that roles are limited due to the nature of the performance. If you have further questions please contact Arden Ouellette at the parish office or via email stapulcyo@gmail.com or Elisa Lollino at the parish office, paul22@cogeco.ca
