Stony Creek Church is located between Degraff and Bellefontaine, OH, on County Road 31S. We are a Bible-based Christian church. Understanding that none of us is perfect, and all are in need of salvation through Christ, we are always striving towards a deeper saving relationship with Him.

Carolyn and I have been married for 48 years. We have 3 children, 25 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
I have previously served in pastoral ministries which inclued two churches as interim pastor and as lead pastor with two other congregations. Prior to that, I also served in many areas of the church organization that included holding a position of Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, Youth Leader, VBS Director, Trustee, Deacon, and Music Leader.
I truly believe in preaching and teaching the Truth of God's Word so, as Christians, we can stand against the tactics of the devil and be a Christ like witness before those who are seeking a new direction.
My ministry goals are to shepherd the lost, equip the saints, and help people follow Jesus. I strive to be a leader with passion and vision. I will preach evangelical sermons to inspire all of God's children to hone their commitment to Jesus and to lead the lost to Jesus.
I believe that, both Christian and non-Christian, people are looking for answers; answers to questions about what is going on in this world in which we live. Why are things happening or not happening? Why are they struggling and what can they do to make it better? My role as pastor and teacher is to direct people using Scripture to the answers to these questions. I will lead people to worship God in spirit and truth as we are instructed to do in the Bible. We worship by filling ourselves with the truth of His Word and then allowing the Spirit to speak to us regarding ourselves in relation to His Word.
