To be a gateway to take a person from the crowd of the world into the core of the kingdom of Jesus Christ.

Those who have yet realized they need Jesus Christ. This is our target

Community:

Those seeking a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Congregation:

Those who have chosen to make Christ their Lord and Savior.

Committed:

Those who have chosen to serve and lead at The Gate

Those who are Directors and Decision makers in The Gate.

Guard – Protection of God

We are a place of safety and security.Our mission is to create a place where people feel the protection of God and the protection of each other. We take great care in creating a safe place of our children and students. We also treat each person who attends The Gate with respect and Honor.

Atmosphere – Presence of God

Each of our ministers and Worship experiences is rich with the presence and atmosphere of God. We invite the Holy Spirit to lead in all areas of The Gate.

Team – Authority of God

We believe in the Authority of God as the ultimate Judge of our lives and actions. We also believe in the inherency of Scripture and the Bible is our transcendent standard for life and living.

Entrance – Access to God

We want to be an entrance for those looking for God. We offer a clear message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in each of our services, classes, and Groups. We believe the Church is The Gateway to the Kingdom of Jesus Christ here on earth.

Dr. J & Vicki came to The Gate over 32 years ago. In 2020 God called them to begin a new pioneering journey of starting an apostolic network of house churches that gather at campuses and in homes across the Chicagoland region and beyond. They have a call to lead the local church into a new era of revival and reformation to see a great end times harvest. As well as overseeing our Gate Leadership College they also lead a house church in their home. Vicki is a coach for our network of House Churches and oversees our womens ministry.

You’ll see all styles of dress. A few may wear a suit and tie or dresses for the women. Some will wear jeans and t-shirts. We may even see shorts if the weather is warm enough. To answer your question, choose an outfit you already own, one you feel comfortable in, and join us. There’s no judgement here.
