The Pentecostals of Youngsville History
The Pentecostals of Youngsville was birthed from a vision of The Pentecostals of Lafayette's Bishop Derald Weber, whose desire was to plant a daughter work in the city of Youngsville, LA.
So, in 2013 Pastor Chris as then Outreach Director of TPOL, along with the Outreach Team began to host prayer walks, (plowing before the Planter) and strategic outreach efforts to canvas the city. God blessed their efforts and several Home Bible Studies were underway.
God began to place a burden on the heart of Pastor Chris to step out on faith and plant this daughter work. After much prayer and seeking pastoral direction, the POY was born. On January 19, 2016 the very first Family Bible Hour was conducted in a residential home at 219 Forest Grove Drive, 31 were in attendance. Just within the first month, God honored their step of faith and filled 5 people with the beautiful gift of the Holy Ghost.
God is doing amazing things in the city of Youngsville!
The Journey Continues...
