We are honored to have you as our guest at McDermott Road.
Every Sunday morning pews are packed and the smiles are sincere. It's the hellos and good mornings that make strangers feel like friends. It's the angelic voice of a child, the prayer of a seasoned believer, and the family of six rustling in the chairs. We are family.
Know this - we are not here to say we're are perfect. In fact, it's just the opposite. We're sinners. And that's the reason we not only need God but need each other. Colossians 1:28 says ... "so that we may present everyone mature in Christ."
Our mission is simple - to help connect, equip and transform the lives of not just our members, but our community. McDermott Road focuses on growth in families, in the church and in strangers. We therefore extend a warm invitation to participate with us in our efforts to Connect and Equip Generations.

helping our children grow in knowledge. We believe that a strong knowledge of God’s Word is foundational for the spiritual development of children. Therefore, we emphasize Bible-centered, developmentally-appropriate classes for all ages of children.
helping our children grow in relationships. We provide opportunities for our children to develop relationships with God and each other. Emphasis is placed on service as an opportunity for children to learn the value of showing God’s love to others.
strengthening our families. Through various activities, some planned and some spur-of-the-moment, we work to engage and equip our families as they strive to create the spiritual home base that God commands of us.

The McDermott Road Youth Ministry is designed to be a launching pad for students to take the message of Jesus into their schools and communities. The goal of our youth ministry is not only to minister to students, but to prepare students for ministering to the world around them. We hope that you will come and join us as we journey to bring our youth closer to God.
