Trinity Episcopal Church has been a community of Christians committed to the work of the Gospel in Winchester since 1859. Our members are passionate about Christian formation and seek to deepen their knowledge of scripture each week in Bible Study and Sunday School. We also have a strong commitment to diversity and promoting the dignity of every human being. At Trinity you you will find welcoming community that worships in a classic Anglican tradition each Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

The Rev. Dr. Amy Lamborn is Vicar of the Southeast Tennessee Episcopal Ministry (STEM) system. Amy holds an M.Div. from the School of Theology of the University of the South and earned her M. Phil. and Ph.D. at the Union Theological Seminary in New York in Psychiatry & Religion.

The author of Figuring the Self, Figuring the Sacred: Imagining Unity and Multiplicity in Depth Psychology and Theology, as well as numerous essays, journal articles and book chapters, her scholarly work focuses on the intersection of depth psychology and Christian theology and spirituality. She has also done extensive training in pastoral care (Clinical Pastoral Education) and adult psychoanalysis with the National Institute for the Psychotherapies and the Jungian Psychoanalytic Association, both in New York City.

A native of West Tennessee, Amy has served in church and institutional settings in Indiana, New York, and Tennessee and was a member of the faculty of the General Theological Seminary (2011-2015). Amy lives in Sewanee with her husband, The Rev. Robert (Rob) Lamborn and her daughter Caroline. She is avid cyclist, a lover of the outdoors, cooking for family and friends, and reading novels and poetry.

Food Pantry

Throughout scripture God calls his people to feed the hungry. At Trinity we take this directive seriously. Our food pantry is open to anyone who is hungry, completely free of charge. If you would like to pick up food, please visit our pantry on Wednesday afternoons between noon and 2:00 p.m.

If you would like to donate food, you can bring it with you to church on Sunday, or drop by the church office on Wednesday afternoons between noon and 2:00 p.m.
