Who we are
Trinity Pentecostal Church, a congregation in Springfield, offers members - and visitors - a chance to become part of something greater. To grow in their love of God and for one another within our beautiful community.
We are rooted in the stories of the Bible and believe worship is something that can be expressed in everything we do. Our philosophy is founded on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. OUR MISSION
1. We want to see lives transformed by the power of God. We believe that Salvation is a miracle and the most important miracle anyone could ever experience.
2. We want to see our members grow in the Lord. Paul speaks in 1 Corinthians 3 about the need to mature as believers. We want our people to grow in the Lord. We believe this growth happens as we lay down ourselves and take up Christ. Prayer is necessary to growth, and time in God's word is necessary for growth.
3. Not only do we desire to see our people grow in the Lord, we desire for them in this growth to become soulwinners for Christ. We desire for them to become teachers to other young Christians. To become leaders, both in the church and in their own families at home.

Trinity Pentecostal Church of God History
From grandfather to grandson.
We were originally West Grand Pentecostal Church of God. In 1994 pastor Dale Wells, who was a great man of God, built a new building and the church was renamed Trinity Pentacostal Church of God. Today it is Trinity Pentecostal Church. Pastor Dale Wells and his wife, Lois Wells pastored the church faithfully for over 30 years. He was a good pastor and loving shepherd. In November of 2020 Pastor Dale Wells went home to be with the Lord. Immediately, his grandson, Hunter Wells began preaching the services, In December of 2020 the board named Hunter Wells, and his wife Sarah Wells the next pastors of Trinity Pentecostal Church. Sis Lois Wells is still very involved with leading the church today.
