Mark is the proud father of seven children with his wife Cheryl. After five years of teaching music and three years of teaching Kindergarten (yes, you read that correctly,) he answered the call to ministry, enrolled at Emmanuel College in Toronto, and was ordained on May 28, 2011. Mark has been proud to call Westminster his home since July of 2006, and says he has always impressed by the energy of the congregation.
Mark leads most worship services, directs the choir, and produces a musical every year, taking at least a cameo spot. Mark loves movies, the theatre and music, as well as leading lively, musical worship services. He also enjoys all the programming he does at Westminster.
Mark is especially passionate about including children and young families in the life of the church.

kids conneXion
What: kids conneXion is our Sunday morning program. The program starts with an open session, similar to what you experience at VBS, where kids will sing, dance, play games, and learn about our amazing God. Kids will then branch off into small groups where they’ll engage in discussion, make crafts, and delve deeper into each days theme.
Who: Geared toward kids in Kindergarten to Grade 5.
When: Every Sunday morning kids can be dropped off before the service, at 10:20. The program will begin at 10:30 and kids can be picked up following the service at 11:30.
Where: Children can meet downstairs in the hall at Westminster United Church, 115 George St. Thamesford.
