Zion First Church of God in Chirst History
A Historical Church, the first COGIC in Northern California, founded by the late Overseer Samuel Harrison in 1916. The first COGIC in Oakland, CA. Zion First is now Celebrating 99 years, 1916-2015. Restored in 1978 by the second pastor, Retired Pastor Willie E. Peals. On September 23, 2013 the church was ravaged with fire, God BLESSED Pastor Rickie L. Williams, in 2014 to rebuild and led the congregation into a new beautiful edifice on the same corner.
