Hurricane Katrina hits Hopewell Church - Monday August 29, 2005
On Monday August 29, 2005, hurricane Katrina unleashed her destruction on the Mississippi and Louisiana gulf coasts. Hopewell Church, like many other homes, churches, and businesses, was a victim of Katrina's mighty winds. Thanks to a group of men from New Jersey and New York, who donated their time and talents, this little church was restored in record time.
