Communion Service
Service of Holy Communion using
Common Worship.
The service is part said, part sung with a small Choir (robed) and Organ.
A Sermon is preached, generally on a Bible passage for that day.
Although it tends to be a quiet service, children do come and they are welcome. Refreshments afterwards in adjoining hall.
(NOTE: During the summer and other special times this service is replaced by a joint 9.30am service. See parish website.)
Every Sunday at 9:00 AM for 50 minutes
Worship Service
This is an informal Family Service designed for all ages, and people of all ages do come.
We sing Hymns and Songs of praise with varied music using piano and other instruments.
The song words are projected onto a screen. (We have a computer projector system.)
Although we use a service sheet to give some structure to the service, it is an evangelical style service that varies from week to week.
A Sermon or talk is given that is generally based on a Bible passage for the day. Creche and Sunday Clubs run alongside the service in the adjoining hall. On the 1st Sunday each month the service includes Holy Communion.
Coffee after in the hall.
(NOTE: During the summer and other special times this service is replaced by a joint 9.30am service. See parish website.)

I want to know Thee
Father, I want to know Thee, but my coward heart fears to give up its toys. I cannot part with them without inward bleeding, and I do not try to hide from Thee the terror of the parting. I come trembling, but I do come. Please root from my heart all those things which I have cherished so long and which have become a very part of my living self, so that Thou mayest enter and dwell there without a rival. Then shalt Thou make the place of Thy feet glorious. Then shall my heart have no need of the sun to shine in it, for Thyself wilt be the light of it, and there shall be no night there. In Jesus Name, Amen.
