About Ascot Vale Uniting Church

We are a Christian community who seek to know the Historical Jesus and follow his teachings of love, peace and justice.

We watch out for one another, support each other in difficult times and celebrate good times together.

We welcome and embrace people of all walks of life and all ages.

Our Minister is Reverend Ron Rosinsky. Ron has a strong commitment to family ministry.
Ron, his wife Isabella and three children warmly welcome you to meet our church community.

Come and see if this is the place for you!

Our Mission Statement:

We create a welcoming community that shows unconditional love by following the spirit and teachings of the historical Jesus.

We do this by:
-
Welcoming people from all circumstances, races, beliefs and gender preferences;
Being caring, compassionate and kind to all;
Striving for social justice through action;
Caring for all creation and protecting the environment;
Studying the teachings of Jesus Christ to expand our spiritual understanding and to know God;
And honouring tradition within a more progressive and open form of worship service.

We belong to Uniting Church Synod of Victoria and Tasmania and within that the Presbytery of Port Phillip West.

Isaiah 8:19

"When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?"

The power of Christian prayer Empower me
Empower me to be a bold participant, rather than a timid saint in waiting; to exercise authority of honesty, rather than to defer to power or deceive to get it; to influence someone for justice, rather than impress anyone for gain; and by grace, to find treasures of joy, of friendship, of peace hidden in the fields you give me daily to plow.
