Who we are
Barrie Free Methodist Church is not a new Church ...in fact we have been in the area for approximately 100 years! But for the last ten years we've been located at the corner of Cundles Road East and Livingstone Street East in North Barrie. We value our rich heritage as well as a modern mindset.

Our purpose is to live like Christ, leading people into an authentic relationship with Him. (2 Corinthians 5:20)
We are committed to making and becoming Christ’s disciples; to maturing together (Ephesians 4:14-15) as we find our place in ministry - within our walls, in the community, and around the world. (Galatians 6:9)
All that we do is grounded in Christ’s love, because without it, nothing else matters. (1 Corinthians 13)

Leader Bio:
Jenn Wagar is an ordained minister. Jenn believes that Jesus came to bring us life and life to the full (John 10:10). As a result, she has made it a life goal to tell people about God’s faithfulness to fulfilling this promise to all those who choose to be in relationship with Him. With a focus on God’s Word, she passionately delivers this unrelenting message of hope to all people. Jenn is strongly committed to promoting and ministering at summer camps, firmly believing that they play a major role in developing one’s spiritual formation.

Dress Code
One of the things you’ll notice about Barrie Free Methodist is that we are a very diverse church. You’ll feel right at home wearing anything from jeans and t-shirts, to your Sunday best!
Sunday School / Children and Youth Activities
Under 12s:
Discovery Zone Sundays
The Discovery Zone is kid’s church on Sunday mornings! Each week, children age 3 to grade 5 have the chance to come together and set off on their journey of discovery.
All kids start out in the service with their families, and then move to the children’s area for their own special time together. In the zone the children enjoy music, crafts and activities that help them learn about God and the Bible, in both large group activities and small group discussions.
Children ages 3 to grade 5 must check-in at the check in desk located down the children’s hallway before going to the service.
Awana Club
Awana is an exciting evening program for children age 3 to 12. We meet every Monday from 6:30 – 8 pm (Sept – June). Kids are welcome to join anytime…
