Belvidere Road Church is a fellowship of Christian people who are joined together by their faith in, and love for, the Lord Jesus Christ. We are, in many ways, ordinary people drawn from all walks of life, but all of our lives have been changed because God in His mercy and grace has shown us and convinced us that…
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23) God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9)
There are lots of other wonderful Bible verses like these which tell of how God’s love, mercy and grace moved Him to send His own Son, Jesus, to die on the cross as our substitute in order to pay the penalty for our sins and to secure our forgiveness and the promise of everlasting life.
This is what we call The Gospel… and we’d love you to know Jesus and His salvation too!
