How to Become a Member of Our Church
There are 3 things we ask of you concerning membership:
1. Has there been a time in your life when you personally acknowledged you are a sinner, accepted Christ as your Savior and made Him Lord of your life?
2. Have you been obedient to Jesus’ command to follow in Believer’s Baptism? At Bethel Baptist we believe this is baptism by immersion, as it is a picture of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection.
3. Do you have the desire to serve and minister to others in the name of Jesus with this like- minded body of believers? If the Lord leads you to join our church family, here are a couple of options:
1 Please schedule a meeting with our pastor to address any questions you may have regarding your new church home.
2. During any of the services at Bethel, come forward at the invitation time and share with the pastor your desire to become a member of this church family. At this time you will be asked the 3 questions listed above before being presented to the church. * We also request that you attend the New Members Class when offered

Pastor Kyle Kitchens was born in Dallas, Texas and has been married to his beloved bride, Katie, since 2011. Together they have two sproutlings, Jedidiah and little Elsie Anne.
The Lord Jesus saw fit to deliver Kyle out of darkness and bring him into HIS marvelous light when he was in his early adult years while serving time in the Texas penitentiary. Early on as a new believer Kyle felt the Lord's calling on his life towards ministry. After being released he spent much of his time in local and community evangelism as well as international missions.
With an increased calling from the Lord to vocational ministry Kyle moved to Dubuque, Iowa to attend Emmaus Bible College and begin his ministerial training. Later, he moved to NC to continue his studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and will soon receive his Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry.
Kyle loves to study theology, philosophy, and apologetics. He has a passion to plow, sow, water, and watch the Holy Spirit create new life in lost sinners. He wishes to see the Great Commission be fulfilled both locally and on a global scale until the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Kyle's emphasis of church growth consists of real and vital relationships of mutual discipleship amongst believers in the local congregation and bestowing love on hurting community members everywhere. His preaching style is engaging and expository. He keeps his finger on the page and what God has to say in the text as the main message.
