Central Methodist Church Latest update
After 4 months of being closed to the public, redecoration, repairs, extensive work on Risk Assessments and putting in the necessary reasonable measures to be as safe as possible, we are delighted to announce, subject to final checks in the coming week, we will be reopening for worship on Sunday 2nd August at 10am
We will still be conducting services with some restrictions.
These last 4 months have been a testing time. For many there is still too much risk and they want to remain cautious. We each have to assess our own risk, we need to respect others' safety and take precautions like social distancing; we are also encouraging the use of face coverings while moving around.
We have learned many things during lockdown - God has not left us, we did not cease to be church with the doors closed. We now look forward to gradually reopening in a safe way so that we can pray and worship together and encourage one another.
God Bless
Rev Mike Grimsley
