Christ Church Service Times
Sunday
All Age Service
On the first Sunday of each month, we all worship together (rather than having separate children's groups). The service often includes songs, prayers, a short talk, musical instruments, and craft activities. Tea, coffee, juice and biscuits are served afterwards.
Every first Sunday at 10:15 AM for 1 hour
Communion Service
Our regular Communion Service takes place on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. During this service there are groups for 3-5 year olds (Bubbles), 5-11 year olds (Kidzone) and for young people at secondary school (W.C.I.S. - What Colour is Sunday?) Children and young people go out to their own activities during the first song, and we all join back together to share in Communion towards the end of the service. The service also includes songs, hymns, Bible readings, prayers, and a sermon normally lasting 15-20 minutes. Tea, coffee, juice and biscuits are served after the service.
Every second and fourth Sunday at 10:15 AM for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Service of the Word
On the third Sunday of the month we have our Service of the Word. During this service we have a separate group for 5-11 year olds (Kidzone). The children go out to their own activities during the first song, and we all join back together towards the end of the service. This service focuses around our Bible readings and sermon, which normally lasts about 15-20mins. The service also includes songs, hymns and prayers. Tea, coffee, juice and biscuits are served after the service.
Every third Sunday at 10:15 AM for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Brunch Service
When there are five Sundays in the month (about four times a year), we have our Brunch Service. The first part of the service, which includes songs, a Bible reading, a short talk and some prayers, normally lasts about 45 minutes. Afterwards we gather around tables to share bacon sandwiches, croissants, tea and coffee together.
Every fifth Sunday at 10:15 AM for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
