Who we are
Go Be a Blessing
Go...I will bless you...so that you will be a blessing. (Gen. 12:1-3)
We believe that no one is perfect, and that none of us can be perfect by ourselves or our own power. Simply said, without God we are spiritually dead sinners living in opposition to God. There is a need for something more in our lives. There is a need to be saved. There is only One who can save us. That One is Jesus Christ. It is because of the perfect life that He lived and His perfect gift that He gave that we are given a new life. This new life might not feel or look different at first, but it is a life that now has the forgiveness and promise of Jesus Christ. The promise that we will have life forever after death.
We hold the Bible, God’s Holy Word, to contain these promises and the account of what God has done for His people from the beginning of time. We believe that the Bible is inerrant and was written by people God selected, to strengthen, comfort, and provide for our spiritual needs. It is by the power of the Holy Spirit that we are enabled to lead a life pleasing to God the Father, have faith in God’s promises, and tell others about the love of Jesus Christ.
We believe that Jesus will return one day. When Jesus does return, He promises to give eternal life to those who trust in His promises and have come to know Jesus as their savior.

Light of the World
Jesus, the Light of the World, as we celebrate your birth... may we begin to see the world in the light of understanding you give us. As you chose the lowly, the outcasts, and the poor to receive the greatest news the world had ever known, so may we worship you in meekness of heart. May we also remember our brothers and sisters less fortunate than ourselves in this season of giving. Amen.
