Who we are
Our mission together is to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
We carry out our mission to make disciples by Going and Growing. We Go into the world, proclaiming the gospel, through community based evangelism and service. We also seek to establish new gospel communities by planting local churches.
In addition to Going into the world to make disciples, we are also called to Grow as disciples. We Grow as disciples in two contexts. Our Sunday meeting is where we gather together to express our affection for Jesus through passionate worship and grow in our obedience to Jesus through the application of God’s Word. Our Sunday morning service is marked by several things:
•Relaxed atmosphere
At CrossWay we have a diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and preferences. You will see people that prefer to dress more formally to those who like to worship in casual clothing, which means no matter where you are coming from, you will fit right in.
•Passionate worship
Our meetings are a place where we worship God through expressive singing both traditional and contemporary songs followed by the preaching of God’s Word.
•Priority of Preaching
During our Sunday meetings we believe that the expositional preaching (book by book) is the building blocks of growing as disciples of Jesus Christ. This means we teach from the Bible, because the Bible is all about Jesus. Often we’ll go through whole books of the Bible, verse by verse, to show you what the whole Bible teaches and how it relates to Jesus. the Bible tells us that faith comes by hearing the word of God, the Bible. So we want to preach as much of it as we can. All our sermons are online, so you can check out all this by giving a listen yourself.
