Who we are

The Deaf Church is led by Rev Tony Salisbury who is profoundly deaf. Rev Tony Salisbury is the first ordained deaf minister in Victoria.

​The whole service is in Auslan Sign Language.

After the service there is tea, coffee and biscuits/cake available, including ‘chats’ during the afternoon tea.

Train: We are a 5 minute walk from Surrey Hills train station on the Belgrave/Lilydale line.

Bus: The nearest bus stop is at the corner of Canterbury Road and Union Road. The buses are the 612 (Box Hill - Chadstone) and the 766 (Box Hill - Burwood). This bus stop is a 5 minute walk to the church.

Car: We have two on-site gravel carparks off Warrigal Road and Canterbury Road, including designated disabled parking.   Edit

We have two on-site car parks off Warrigal Road and Canterbury Road, including designated disabled parking. These can fill up quickly so we would recommend arriving a little early to give yourself time to find a spot. Parking on Warrigal Road and Russell Street are unrestricted on Sundays.   Edit
