Who we are
Welcome to Elmwood. We are a contemporary and welcoming church in Salford, Manchester – on a journey to explore faith in Jesus Christ and share the life and forgiveness that he freely offers.
At Elmwood, people of all ages and from all over the world worship together – ordinary people, with the usual mix of joys and griefs, strengths and failings – but people whose lives are being transformed by Jesus.
We are a growing church with a growing pastoral team. David & Heather Fowler joined us in 2010 when David became our Pastor. And Chris & Ruth Elsdon came on board in 2012 when Chris was appointed Youth & Children’s Pastor.
Do have a look round to find out a bit more about us – but even better, come and see us this Sunday at 10.30am or 6.30pm.

Elmwood Church Service Times
Services
We would love the opportunity to welcome you to any of our services.
Morning Service 10.30am, Evening Service 6.30pm
Worship at Elmwood blends the best modern Christian songs with a sprinkling of more traditional hymns. Our bible teaching seeks to apply God’s truth into 21st century life -and we arrive expecting God to speak to us!
During our service the prayers, interviews and stories of God at work also help us connect the theory with the reality that God is alive and active – both in our lives and amidst the people we meet every day.
Age Appropriate Activities during the Morning Service
Little Salties for 0-3’s is available from half way through the morning service and staffed by very capable leaders.
Children’s and Youth groups usually start part way through the service:
Salt Cellar for 3 – 11s (Reception to Year 6)
Dare:2 for 11- 14s (Years 7 – 9)
Impact for 14 – 18s (Years 10 – 13)
It's been more than 8 years since the last service times update. Please make sure to contact the church to confirm service times.

May your light illuminate our hearts
Eternal God, this holy night is radiant with the brilliance of your one true light. May that light illuminate our hearts and shine in our words and deeds. May the hope, the peace, the joy, and the love represented by the birth in Bethlehem this night fill our lives and become part of all that we say and do. May we share the divine life of your son Jesus Christ, even as he humbled himself to share our humanity. Amen.
