Who we are
WELCOME TO Erskine Parish Church
Mission Statement
We rejoice in God’s forgiving love for us through Jesus Christ, ourSaviour and Redeemer. As part of His Church, we are committed to sharing this good news with everyone who lives in our community.
Our Vision
Our vision for the future is to continue to embrace change. The Church, both locally and nationally, can never stand still nor stay the same. We believe that although God and the Gospel are unchanging, the way the Church communicates, celebrates and shares her unchanging faith cannot stand still...
It is our aim to remain fearless in our efforts to bring God’s Word to all people through a church which is full of vitality, innovative, imaginative and eager to embrace whatever changes are made, be it in the way we worship or in discipleship to others.
We see Erskine Parish Church as a family which opens its doors of friendship and love to everyone and which will offer solace and sanctuary to all who enter. We are committed, as a Church, to providing a warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere and to supporting one another in our walk of faith.
As we sing in the hymn Let us build a house, ‘all are welcome in this place.’
We see the VISION of Erskine Parish Church as being one of:
V Vitality and Vigour I Innovation and Imagination S a Sanctuary and Solace to all who enter I being Intrepid and courageous in evangelism. O being Obedient and Observant to God’s Word N Nurturing in ensuring God is the Nucleus of all we seek to achieve.
