Who we are
Eynsford Baptist Church
Although small in number we see ourselves as a real family, led by the Spirit and full of love. The church building rebuilt in 1909 is a wonderful resource and is used for worship and by various community groups.
After a rather challenging season, in October 2016 the church appointed Chris Moffett as its part-time lay pastor. Chris is supported by a leadership team of three: Trevor and Liz Timms and Trevor Wood. Some who moved away in unhappier times are beginning to return.
We are optimistic about the future and look forward to welcoming new worshippers to our Sunday meeting, which begins at 10.30, am.

Eynsford Baptist Church History
We are one of three churches in Eynsford, a Kentish village with a rich history from pre Roman times and a current population of around 2000.
Founded in 1775, the congregation of EBC has seen days when its congregation was well over 100. It recent years we have been through some challenging times and currently there are 15 of us, who live in the village or close by. Although small in number we see ourselves as a real family, led by the Spirit and full of love. The church building rebuilt in 1909 is a wonderful resource and is used for worship and by various community groups.
After a very challenging season during which the church was without a pastor, we appointed Chris Moffett as our part-time lay pastor in October 2016. Chris gives two spends two days a week in this role and is supported by a leadership team of three: Trevor and Liz Timms and Trevor Wood.
Relations with the other two congregations (St Martins, the parish church and Darent Valley Community Church) are good and we hold regular joint meetings and activities. We are optimistic about the future and look forward to welcoming new worshippers to our Sunday meeting, which begins at 10.30, am.
