Who we are
What We Believe
We are a Christian church. As such, there are certain things we believe.
There is only one God and he created the universe He exists as a triune (3-in-1, Father-Son-Holy Spirit) being He has given us his word, the Bible, and we are to follow it We can only have a relationship to God through the sacrifice of Jesus There is a literal Heaven and a literal Hell Jesus is the only way to Heaven We as Christians have an obligation to help those in need We are expected to not only learn what the Bible says, but do what it says We are to spread the love and message of Jesus to everyone Our church was put here to minister to those in our community
Our Mission
Love, Learn, Live.
Our logo has been taken from the logo of the United Brethren In Christ logo. We use the cross to represent love because of the love that Christ showed for us when he died for us. The Bible says that this is the kind of self sacrificing love that we should have for one another. We use the flame of the Holy Spirit to represent learning because Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would guide us into all truth. We use the 2 people clasping arms to represent living out our faith in front of others in an effort to tell them about Jesus.
This also gives us a picture of what it looks like to grow as a Christian in discipleship. We are drawn to God by the LOVE of Jesus, we then begin to LEARN from the Bible and from fellow believers as the Holy Spirit guides us into all truth, and as we mature we LIVE out that faith in acts of kindness, sharing our faith with others, and bringing the unchurched into the fellowship so the process can take place over and over.
We believe this model is Biblical and easy to relate to people. If you want to know what our church’s mission is AND our method of discipleship, it’s simple. 3 words. Love, Learn, Live.

Leader Bio:
I have been in ministry all of my life. My Great Uncle and Grandfather were church planters. Back in the early 60’s they started UBIC Holly Hill in Holly Hill Florida. In the 70’s my Great Uncle Virgil Hull started this Church as a church pant in Port Orange. My Father Pastor Chuck McKeown was the first Pastor of UBIC Port Orange when it opened it’s doors at 4700 S. Clyde Morris Blvd. He is now Pastoring at our Holly Hill Church and has been there since 1988. I had the honor of working at UBIC Holly Hill for 9 years and their Children’s Pastor, and almost 9 years as their Youth Pastor. In September of 2017 I was stationed as the Lead Pastor here at UBIC Port Orange.
I love being a Pastor. I know it is what God has called me to do. He has blessed me with a wonderful family that also believes in serving the Lord in ministry. If you come by on a Sunday morning you’ll see that first hand. I am blessed with a real ministry family. I married my beautiful wife Julie in 1998 and we have four amazing children Caleb, Aaron, Sebastian, and Anna Grace.
I would love to have you stop by sometime and check us out. Come and get to know us. If you do I’m sure you’ll fit right in and feel at home. Hope to see you in Church next Sunday.

Faith Church of United Brethren In Christ Service Times
Sunday: 9am and 10:30am
Wednesday: 7pm
Our Traditional Service
We offer a traditional service at 9am. During this service we sing hymns accompanied by the piano and organ. During our traditional service Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month. This is a shorter very traditional service. If you are looking for a Church service that will remind you of the Church you attended in "the good old days" or if you simply would like to attend a shorter church service to help accommodate your schedule, the 9am service is for you. It's held every Sunday except the third Sunday of the month when we combine services for an all congregation service followed by a carry-in style fellowship dinner.
Our Contemporary Service
We offer a contemporary service at 10:30am. During this service we sing songs that you will have likely heard on Christian radio. During our contemporary service Holy Communion is celebrated every week. We believe that by honoring and remembering what God did for us through Christ every week it will give us an even bigger appreciation for His sacrifice. Each week we start our service by praying for specific prayer requests from other churches around our country. During our contemporary service we offer our Children's Church program. The kids stay in for the beginning of the service for music, announcements and a children's message then they head off to Kid's Church. We always close this service with a time of worship and prayer. If you're looking for an upbeat service that will challenge you to dig deeper in the word of God and His will for your life the 10:30 service is for you.
It's been more than a year since the last service times update. Please make sure to contact the church to confirm service times.

Faith Church of United Brethren In Christ History
Located at 4700 S Clyde Morris Blvd in Port Orange, Florida, FL 32129, we are part of the denomination of the United Brethren in Christ. The United Brethren church consists of about 500 churches in 14 countries, with a total membership of around 47,000. About two-thirds of the churches are in the United States, where it all started. Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana account for most of the American churches, though we have churches scattered all around the country--Florida, California, Washington, Idaho, New York, and elsewhere. Together, all of the churches in the United States comprise a "national conference" called the Church of the United Brethren in Christ, USA. Its headquarters is located in Huntington, Ind., on property adjoining the church-owned Huntington University.
