Who we are
Mission Statement
Grow in Faith + Live in Hope + Serve in Love
Mission & Purpose Faith, Hope, Love… These three words appear in the Bible and specifically in the New Testament rather frequently. As such, we want to emulate these attitudes and actions in our life together as a congregation as well as individual believers.
Faith can grow and deepen.
Hope is that outlook that God is in charge and things will work out.
Love is more than emotion. It is the actions we do on behalf of others for their benefit.
In this congregation we Grow in Faith, we Live in Hope, and we Serve in Love. Thanks be to God!
Our Beliefs We believe that a relationship with Jesus Christ is at the core of all that we do. The following expounds deeper on the things that we believe as a Church.
What we about the Bible We believe the Bible is the Living Word of God. It provides direction, encouragement, hope, and above all, the knowledge that we are saved by Grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We encourage daily Bible reading and will gladly provide a Bible if needed.
What we believe about God
We believe that God is the Creator of all things. He continuously provides all our needs and cares for us all of our days. He is the ultimate authority in life and always works to our benefit.
What we believe about Jesus We believe that Jesus is the Savior of the World. He came because we were disobedient to God, yet God wanted to have a relationship with us. Jesus gave His life on the cross that we could be restored to a right relationship with God and be with Him eternally. Jesus is our best friend.
What we believe about the Holy Spirit We believe in the Holy Spirit who creates faith in us through God’s Word and Sacraments.
What we believe about the Trinity We believe that the three persons of the Trinity; God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit are coequal and co-eternal, one God, not three.
What we believe about Salvation We believe that salvation is a free gift of God through Jesus Christ. We cannot earn salvation by what we do, nor do we deserve salvation, even if we are good people. God comes to us and makes us His own.
What we believe about Faith
Faith is a gift. It is given to us by grave through Christ so that we believe what He says and receive the blessings of eternal life that He gives.
What we believe about Baptism Baptism is God’s work to make us His children. He chooses us. We do not choose Him. Baptism is the entrance into a relationship with God through Christ. It is what he does for us, not what we do for Him.
What we believe about Communion In Holy Communion, Jesus gives us Himself so that our sins are forgiven. His death on the cross and His resurrection from the grave assures us of this great gift. We believe in the Real Presence of His body and Blood, in, with, and under the bread and wine.
What we believe about Relationships We believe that relationships are very important. The most important life relationship is with Christ Jesus. After that the most important relationships are with family and friends. We are here to help you in your relationships and we pray that we might be numbered among your friends.

Give me a steadfast heart
Give me, O Lord, a steadfast heart which no unworthy thought can drag downwards; an unconquered heart which no tribulation can wear out; an upright heart which no unworthy purpose may tempt aside. Bestow upon me also, O Lord my God, understanding to know you, diligence to seek you, wisdom to find you, and a faithfulness that may finally embrace you; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
