Who we are
Welcome to Faith Tamil Lutheran Church, established in August 2004 in the Metro Detroit area. We follow the tradition and practices of Lutheran Church Missouri Synod . We meet for Worship services at the Chapel of Faith Lutheran Church, Troy every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. We have lively worship services in Tamil Language with PowerPoint presentation in English to help to understand everyone who is attending the worship. We have lively Choir singing in Tamil and English. If you speak Tamil, we are sure you will enjoy this fellowship and worship. All our worship and related Ministry events will encourage you towards a loving connection with a loving God, a life with Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. We invite all the people seeking to grow spiritually with us in developing their faith. Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations - Ps 100.

Leader Bio:
Pastor Arul is in pastoral ministry for the last 24 years. He hails from a scenic little town called Nagercoil from South India. He earned his graduate degree in Divinity from Tamil Nadu Theological Seminary in India, Post graduate degree in Theology in the United States of America and he graduated in E.I.T.T program at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is an ordained Pastor of Lutheran Church Missionary Synod and Pastor of Faith Tamil Lutheran Church. He is working among Tamil speaking community and also different ethnic groups in Metro Detroit through personal evangelism, conducting public interest classes like ESL, Tamil etc. Pastor Arul has been an instrumental in installing the Tamil Church and has been pastoring this congregation since Aug 04. Pastor Arul is joined by his wife and daughter in this ministry. Â
