First Pentecostal Church History

The beginnings of the First Pentecostal Church in Gainesville, Texas started during the early period of the 1940’s, under the Pastorate of Rev. Nicola Miller. Her fervent prayer and love for truth led the way for Pastor Kenneth Lewis to carry the work into the late 50’s. Through God’s direction the church has continued to thrive since its founding.

Irvington United Pentecostal Church Houston, Texas. Where Pastor Dennis C. Lewis was dedicated in 1961 by Pastor C.L. Dees and baptized in 1967, received the Holy Ghost in 1973. Called to the ministry at the age of 19. (Jeremiah 3:15)
