Gimli Lutheran Church History
The First Lutheran Church was constructed by Icelandic Settlers in 1877 ( which means we have been worshiping as a Lutheran church for over 140 years) Our Current Structure on #50 Third Ave ( across from the George Johnson Middle Years School ) is the third building our congregation has used for worship and it was completed in 1953 with many new upgrades to date.
